SOFTBALL PITCHING CLINIC

Stacey Smith record holder for all Pleasant Valley pitching records will be our guest speaker and hold a pitching clinic for all players and coaches on Tuesday March 25th at 6:00 PM in the Auxiliary Gym at Swiftwater Intermediate School.  All softball players, coaches and parents interested in learning the windmill technique are welcome to attend.

SAFETY NIGHT

On March 25 at 6:30 PM there will be a “Safety Night” at the Pocono Township Building. We will have the Athletic Director of ESU give a lecture and presentation on “Steroid abuse in baseball.” He will discuss the reason why ballplayers use these illegal drugs, the harmful effects on the body, and the ethical aspect of cheating. The discussion will be geared towards our younger players as well as our junior and senior players. Also that night we will have a discussion of proper warm-ups for baseball and softball. Fina1ly we will have a “lightning” corner dedicated to proper safety during severe weather with an emphasis on lightning. Money should be collected when orders are taken and put in the white collection envelope.

All checks are payable to Big Pocono Little League.

Collection envelopes are due back on the week of April 21^st thru the 25th. They should be given to your coach or team mom that week.  Be sure all information on the envelope is correct and legible and that the money is included.  Please keep your order form for your delivery of product.

Product pick-up date is Monday May 12^th, 2008 at 5PM

Delivery location is Pocono Township Firehall.

All Products must be picked-up date on Monday May 12^th, 2008 at 5PM.

Items are perishable and we do not have refrigerated storage. Items not pickup on this date may be donated to a local food bank.
